Created In The Carolinas | Pictures From Grand Opening

Created In The Carolinas had a successful grand opening this past weekend! Some of the vendors were present to share about their products.

Max filmed a video interview of several vendors and their products – myself included – to help promote our products. Marie {the sweet lady who invited me to come see the shop and put my products there in the first place!} is a quilter and will be teaching classes on site in the coming weeks. Karen heads up the shop and is really a great lady – so supportive of entrepreneurs and small business owners. Carol paints and makes pottery – I was able to watch her paint in one of the “studio rooms” with another lady who teaches French. We talked about education and schooling, parenting, family beliefs, standards, our work, etc. I even remembered a French phrase that my babysitter taught me at age 8 or 9… 😉

The 23+ vendors at this small shop, make a variety of unique products… jewelry, hand-knitted and crocheted items, wall art, pottery, painted dishes, hot sauce, home decor, skin care and pet products, candles, wood work, metal wall art, soaps, signs, quilts, bags, magnets, headbands and hair products, etc. Image 4

Classes will be held by some of the vendors – quilting, painting, and pottery… check out the website and Facebook page as more information and details are added. As a vendor, it pays {in more ways than one} to hold classes there for the public. So… we shall see what comes of that! 🙂
