Reformation Acres {Handcrafted Farmstead Soaps}

It’s been an amazing week so far … and yet ANOTHER highlight of this beautiful day, was that moment when I arrived home to find this lovely-smelling box full of beautifully wrapped soaps sitting on the table.

I’ve added new soaps to the shop in the past … and I’ve blogged about many soaps that I love. But these soaps are SPECIAL. By that, I mean that they are uniquely formulated for all sorts of skin conditions – acne, eczema, poison ivy, chiggers, aging, dry and chaffed skin, itchy and irritated skin, skin rashes … and the list goes on.

So today I’m excited to share with you a new line of soaps!

Reformation Acres is a small, family-run farm located in beautiful Ohio. Quinn and her family love homesteading, living a simple life, and enjoying the benefits of growing their own food and raising their own animals. Together they handcraft pure, all-natural soaps using fresh ingredients from their farm. Unlike your typical fragrances, Reformation Acres soaps are 100% palm oil free, and uniquely formulated to moisturize, cleanse, rejuvenate, restore, and bring healing to all types of skin conditions. Quinn uses herbs, seeds, clays, essential oils, and fresh milk from their Jersey cows to make beautiful soaps that leave a lasting impression on your skin.

Formulated especially for aging skin, Cucumber & Yogurt is a gentle, cleansing soap with a rich, creamy lather & natural scent.

It’s made from scratch on Reformation Farm in Ohio. Quinn makes fresh yogurt using the raw milk from their beautiful pasture-grazing Jersey cows – Stella, Holly, and Candy. The cucumbers are organically grown, fresh from her garden.

Calendula is a skin-loving, moisturizing and rejuvenating soap – beneficial for all skin types and conditions.

Calendula is wonderfully beneficial and healing to dry & chapped skin, cuts, scrapes, bug bites, and a myriad of skin conditions. It works gently and is often used in natural herbal baby skin care formulas.

Apricot Scrub is a gentle cleansing & exfoliating soap, formulated specifically to detoxify the skin, remove dead skin cells, and unclog pores – rejuvenating and brightening the skin.

Apricot & poppy seeds, along with colloidal oatmeal & yellow clay, are used to clean and detoxify the skin, gently and effectively sloughing off dead skin cells, and unclog pores. Your skin will be soft, smooth, and bright! Apricots are loaded with antioxidants and rich in vitamin A carotenoids for a lovely glowing skin. The vitamins A & E along with gamma linoleic acid are present in apricot kernel oil and beneficial to your skin.

Scratch is a gentle cleansing & healing soap, formulated specifically for poison ivy, eczema, chiggers, and other skin irritations.

Scratch is loaded with jewelweed tea, jewelweed infused oils, & dehydrated powdered jewelweed & oatmeal for a gentle, itch-relieving exfoliation.

The beautiful Jewelweed plant with it’s orange blossoms & touch-me-not seed pods is the go-to, all-natural remedy for poison ivy rash or any other itchy skin conditions you might suffer from! Quinn harvests fresh Jewelweed from her farm each Summer, to prepare the juice, oil infusions, and dehydrate the leaves for her farmstead soaps.

Rose Hip is a gentle cleansing & hydrating soap, formulated specifically to detoxify the skin, remove dead skin cells, and lessen the effects of aging.

Rose hips have 50% more vitamin C than oranges. What does that mean for you skin? Vitamin C is shown to encourage the synthesis of collagen, reduce and prevent fine lines, scars, and wrinkles. Vitamin A works in regenerating new skin cells, making rose hips an excellent choice for your skin care. French Pink Clay is used to clean and detoxify the skin, sloughing off dead skin cells.
