There are few words to describe the beautiful, peaceful feeling of sitting by a cheerful lit Christmas tree in our family room, writing … a
busy fast and furious day beginning to wind down.
Today was filled with STACKS of boxes on our school room table – some needing labels, some needing tape, and all of them needing a hand-written note, a fun sample, and one last review. There were batter bowls to sample, with gooey whipped peppermint dessert filling. An abundance of beautiful gift boxes were lined up in order on the table where I handle my work tasks – and from there I racked my brain for ideas on what to fill them up with… and after that I posted pictures, which immediately led to more orders. There were hours of tedious computer work for the family company – people to contact about training courses, meetings to set up, and always one more email to reply to or question to answer. 🙂 And in the afternoon it was errands – to deliver more gift boxes, drop off orders at the Post Office, and return some items to our local Library.
I sure love this busy time of year.
Christmas is just about a week out. Are you as excited as I am? I think part of what I’m most looking forward to, is the arrival of some very dear friends from Kansas. 🙂 ❤
Tonight I’m excited to announce that I just added these lovelies to the shop. Yes, hand-made cherry therapy packs from a wonderful entrepreneurial family, who also happen to be very dear friends!

In case you’ve never heard of a THERA-PIT-IC pack, check out this blog post that I wrote on how we use ours! The Neelys first gifted us with one several years back, and it’s been put to MUCH use in a very short time. In fact, I can’t believe we survive with just one!
These cherry pit packs are amazing! So easy to use, multi-functioning as both a hot and cold pack. The cherry pits create a much nicer filling than rice, beans, or other filling material. The design is durable and lasts for a long time – we’re still happily using ours on a frequent bases from several years ago now.
Best of all, they’re inexpensive and a great investment for the whole family! Use for aches and pains, headaches & migraines, stress-relief, tension-relief, or anything else you might use a hot/cold pack for.
